These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the OneStride mobile application, the website www.onestride.ch, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By registering an account, publishing a listing, or using the search, matching, chat, or newsletter functions, you agree to these Terms.
OneStride is operated by Manon Rudin, a private individual based at Im Rüeblig 2, 8117 Fällanden, Switzerland ("we", "our", "us"). OneStride is not yet a registered company. These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, documents, descriptions, and other materials you upload ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of everything you publish. By uploading User Content you grant OneStride a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of:
This is consistent with our Privacy Policy, which states that listings, photos, and videos may be used for OneStride's own marketing.
You may not publish listings or User Content that:
Listings remain active for up to 60 days. Before expiry we send a reminder so the seller can review, refresh, or extend the listing. Expired listings can be reactivated at any time from the dashboard.
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, edit, hide, suspend, or remove any User Content that we believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or basic standards of safety and animal welfare. We may also restrict, suspend, or terminate any account that repeatedly or seriously breaches these rules.
Once two users match, they can communicate via in-app chat. Messages are stored only as long as needed to operate the chat feature and are subject to our Privacy Policy.
As soon as users move from in-app chat to any Off-Platform Interaction — phone, email, messaging apps, social media, video call, or in-person meeting — OneStride's role ends. We have no access to, control over, or responsibility for anything that happens off-Platform, including but not limited to:
Both buyers and sellers acknowledge that horse transactions carry significant legal, financial, health, and safety risk. You are solely responsible for:
OneStride strongly recommends that buyers do not transfer significant funds without a written contract and a successful pre-purchase examination.

All technology, design, trademarks, the name "OneStride", logos, and Platform content (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to OneStride. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the OneStride name, marks, or brand features without our prior written consent.
Use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The data controller is Manon Rudin, Im Rüeblig 2, 8117 Fällanden, Switzerland. We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your rights and how to exercise them are described in the Privacy Policy.

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. OneStride is not responsible for the practices of any third-party provider.
Scout is an AI-powered assistant offered as a convenience. Responses are generated automatically and do not constitute professional veterinary, legal, financial, breeding, or training advice. Scout may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Always verify independently and consult qualified professionals before any purchasing, breeding, training, or medical decision.
The Platform is currently free to use. Certain features may in future become paid (for example premium listings, boost features, dealer subscriptions). Where applicable:
If we introduce paid features, we will give users at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app. Listings that were active and free before such a change will remain free for the remainder of their original 60-day duration.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that any specific result will be achieved.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OneStride (and Manon Rudin as operator) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss or damage arising from or in connection with:
Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk. This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be fully excluded by law, the total aggregate liability of OneStride and Manon Rudin to you shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to OneStride in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or CHF 100, whichever is lower.
Any claim against OneStride must be brought within 12 months from the date on which you became aware (or should reasonably have become aware) of the facts giving rise to the claim, and in any event no later than 3 years after the underlying event, to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OneStride and Manon Rudin (as operator) from and against any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
We may modify these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will notify you via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing support@onestride.ch.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that termination is appropriate to protect the Platform, other users, or animal welfare.
Accounts that have been inactive for 24 months may be deleted after prior notice by email. Your personal data will then be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 5.1 (content licence), 6.2 (off-platform liability cutoff), 14 (disclaimers and liability), 15 (indemnification), and 18 (governing law) — remain in effect after your account is closed.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the original economic intent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be the competent courts of Basel, Switzerland. Mandatory consumer jurisdictions (e.g. the consumer's place of residence under the Lugano Convention) remain reserved.
